Recycling your old polythene bags...
Bayard Packaging Ltd is able to recycle polythene bags and sacks obtained from other sources.
If you wish to take advantage of this facility, you need to make sure that the plastic you have is made from polythene, rather than polypropylene, cellophane, nylon or another plastic. These other plastics tend to have the clarity similiar to that of glass, and sound 'crinkly' when screwed up and don't stretch like polythene does, so just put the polythene into an envelope and send it to us, making sure that sufficient postage has been added.
Any polythene that is sent to us needs to have any paper, sticky tape and food remenents etc removed, if there is anything other than just the polythene, unfortunately we will be unable to recycle the material.
